How to connect your domain to Bocadium
Add your domain in Bocadium, copy the A, CNAME and TXT records into your DNS provider and verify the connection to enable HTTPS.
1. Add the domain in Bocadium

Open your business backend and go to “Custom domain”.

Enter only the domain, for example restaurante.uy, without https:// or paths.

Bocadium will show the exact DNS records you need to create for that domain.
2. Configure DNS records
In the DNS panel where your domain is managed, create exactly the records shown by Bocadium. The normal setup is an A record for the root domain, a CNAME for www and a unique TXT record to verify domain control.
3. Wait for propagation and verify

DNS changes can take from a few minutes to several hours depending on the provider and TTL.

Return to Bocadium and press “Verify”.

Bocadium checks routing and the ownership TXT. When both are correct, it registers the domain for automatic HTTPS.

When the status is Active, test the domain with and without www.
You do not need to delegate the whole domain
Using a custom domain with Bocadium does not require transferring ownership or necessarily changing nameservers. The business can keep the domain with its registrar and simply add the DNS records shown.
If you already use domain email
- Do not delete existing MX, SPF, DKIM or DMARC records.
- Only change or add the web records shown by Bocadium.
- If in doubt, take a screenshot of the DNS zone before changing it.
